Six Questions with Deb Sarsany of the Deb Sarsany Team at The Real Estate Group

1 What inspired you to launch your business?

I have always loved working in sales and even more, working with people. I enjoy seeing the pride when someone buys their first home and knowing that I helped that happen. I get as much joy in seeing how happy a seller is when their home sells and their excitement embarking on a new journey in their life.

2 What is your passion?

I have a passion for doing things right with integrity and honesty. Helping people and making a difference.

3 How do you start your day?

The early hours are for me personally, I walk our dog, exercise, and pray. Then I start my business day with a review of my to do list and a goal to make it happen.

4 Favorite local businesses?

Oh gosh that is a hard one because there are SO, so many that I like, respect and shop. I honestly can't say that I have a favorite.

5 What do you deem as success in business?

Waking up each day and being excited, motivated and passionate about what you do and what you can do.

6 What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Never give up on the dream. But be realistic and understand that some businesses will not survive for many reasons and not because of your lack of desire. Be open to advice and suggestions. Have a stop loss plan in place, know when it's time to regroup or even close. It's not worth draining a savings account or putting your family at risk.
