AlignLife of Springfield welcomes Logan University student on a three-month preceptorship

Megan Joseph AlignLife of Springfield Illinois

A chiropractic student will join AlignLife of Springfield for a three-month preceptorship.

Megan Joseph, 25, is a Doctor of Chiropractic student at Logan University in Missouri.

Raised in Lincoln, Illinois, Megan completed her Bachelor’s of Health Science with a minor in Management and Leadership at Bradley University.

“As a student, I am still learning to perfect my adjusting techniques,” said Megan. “This comes with time and experience.

“I believe Dr. Willey can help me improve my adjusting abilities.

“I also want to learn how to run a business, specifically a chiropractic office. Dr. Willey and his team can help teach me the different aspects of running a business.”

Megan is a trimester 10 student and will graduate in December 2024.

“AlignLife has a great atmosphere the moment you walk in,” said Megan. “I hope to impact patients by bringing a positive energy to the office and assist in improving their quality of life. The same energy and quality that Dr. Willey and his team excel at providing.”

AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic celebrates 11 years in business in October.

“I will never forget the experience I had as a student with my preceptor,” said Dr. Willey.

Dr. Willey also attended Logan University, where he received a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation.

“At the end of our schooling, as a chiropractor, all you want to do is take everything you have learned in the classroom, put it into practice, and serve people like you’ve dreamed about for years.

“I remember being so excited to share everything I learned with anybody that would listen.”

AlignLife of Springfield recently expanded to include three full-time chiropractors.

“To have the preceptor opportunity was one of the most invigorating and exciting points of my career,” said Dr. Willey. “I am very excited to offer that same opportunity to another doctor. I can’t wait for Megan to learn from us, but I can’t wait for us to learn from her. Our patients will experience a win-win situation, and for that, I’m very grateful.”
