Tell us about your business or cause.
I developed and launched Honeydew Candle Company in 2020. Honeydew candles are not only beautiful but also eco-friendly and safe for both people and pets. I use soy blend wax and phthalate-free scents that are clean-burning and long-lasting.
Tell us about your team or volunteers.
Several female employees work hard to craft all our candles by hand and ship them to local and national stores. Honeydew Candles are now in hundreds of boutiques all over the United States.

We have done many events with Illinois Local, and they are run effectively and organized. They work hard to advertise and promote the events so the business owners can focus on their products and services. All of our events with Illinois Local have been highly successful.
What sets you apart from others in your industry?
Many fragrances used in candles contain phthalates, which is why some can release harsh chemicals into the air when burned. That's why we take the safety and well-being of our customers very seriously. We understand that burning candles is a daily ritual for many of us, and we want to ensure our candles are beautiful, fragrant, and safe to use. That's why we choose fragrance selections free from phthalates, parabens, and nitro musks. You should be able to enjoy the soothing ambiance of a candle without any worries about the ingredients used to create it.
