Fed Kitchen and AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic & Natural Health Center will host Balance Yoga for the second monthly masterclass.

Fed Kitchen and AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic & Natural Health Center will host Balance Yoga for the second monthly masterclass on stress management.

The free masterclass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Papo's Café. Registration is not required. Attendees can sample products from each business, network, and socialize.

The masterclasses were created by Fed Kitchen and AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic to help make the community healthier.

Brennan Malham of Fed Kitchen and Malham Health Maximization will explain how to optimize health through strategic lifestyle choices. Whether choosing nutrient-dense meals that support stress adaptation or implementing daily habits that enhance mental clarity and performance.

"At our next masterclass, we will explore the science of stress, its effect on the body, and how to regulate it with tools that create an immediate and lasting impact," said Brennan.

"Participants will learn practical strategies to manage stress effectively, from breathwork techniques to movement and cold exposure to nutrition-based interventions that support resilience."

The March masterclass will equip attendees with actionable steps to take control of stress and well-being.

Dr. Bryne Willey of AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic will discuss simple strategies for combating stress and achieving a calmer body and mind.

"I am extremely passionate about this topic, stress," said Dr. Willey. "We live stressful lives, and it is almost inevitable, so learning to see signs of stress on the body and how to manage it is critical.

"My patients constantly ask for advice on "how to handle stress better," I think we can all implement daily tips and tricks to help with that. I am very excited to speak with Brennan and Angie as they also have a wealth of knowledge on this topic."

Angie Ryan of Balance Yoga will explain how movement and mindfulness help reduce stress.

"We will dive into how breathwork directly influences the nervous system, helping to shift from stress and overwhelm to calm and control," she said. "Participants will learn and practice cleansing breath techniques to clear tension, 1:2 breathing to regulate the nervous system, and a guided body scan meditation to release stored stress and reconnect easily.

"Expect an engaging, practical session where you'll leave with tools you can use daily to manage stress and enhance your overall well-being."
