What inspired you to launch your own business?

Since having my son almost two-and-a-half years ago, I felt the need to find a creative outlet, which led me to try out different forms of art, exercise, baking, etc. but none of that spoke to me.  I created invitations, balloon garland, and other decorations for my son's first and second birthdays and had a blast. A good friend of mine saw the work I put into my son’s second birthday and gave me the push I needed to offer my talent to friends and family, so I did. One thing led to another, and here I am, five months later, with a growing business. I love every minute. I truly enjoy every step of creating the perfect event with my client.

What is your passion?

I am very passionate about being a good wife and mother. I put so much time into my business during the day, so I try to take off Mondays, Tuesdays, and evenings to spend time with my family. We love being outside, going swimming, riding four-wheelers, and hiking.

How do you start your day?

I start every morning relaxing in bed for about 15 minutes before waking up my two-year-old, then we snuggle for a little before we start our day. It is the best part of every day. We eat breakfast together then I get to work on all the business things.

Favorite local business?

I love Cafe Moxo and Tacology 201. I am gluten-free, so any place that can cater to those needs holds a special place for me.

What do you deem as success in business?

I think success comes when you have found something you thoroughly enjoy doing, and you can turn it into a business.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Try to see others in the business as motivation, not competition. Build a positive mindset for those businesses that are reaching the same client base. Their success does not take away from your own.
