What inspired you to launch your business?
I launched HGP just after my oldest Gemma turned one. I realized how fast that first year went and how much of it was a blur between taking care of a newborn, taking care of myself, and navigating the new dynamic of my little family.
What is your passion?
Preserving moments while giving my clients an unmatched luxury experience.
How do you start your day?
(There may be a snooze button hit) but after that, I usually start with a few pages of whatever book I'm reading. My mandatory first cup of tea happens shortly after that, and then the kids and I grind out the workday and homeschool before lunch.
Favorite local businesses?
When visiting Springfield, I love Obed & Isaacs, Gypsy Soul, Bounce Tag (for the kids), and Bewitching Botanicals. Local to me, I love The Perfect Pair, Bushel & Peck, Black Iron Coffee Co, and Designs By Jennilyn. I definitely don't mind traveling to Happy Bakes Goods, Nesties, Ancho & Agave, and Growing Grounds.
What do you deem as success in business?
When I can make a living supporting my family and still maintain a work/life balance with clients who value and love the service I provide.
What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
