What inspired you to launch your business?
Calligraphy is my creative outlet. I've created so many pieces for myself, friends, and family over the years and eventually decided to start creating custom pieces for others as well. Launching my business has allowed me to continue my passion and keep my creative juices flowing.
What is your passion?
My passion is trying new things. There are so many different aspects of calligraphy, and I'm always learning new things, from classic ink and nib calligraphy to brush lettering, watercolor lettering, and engraving. With calligraphy, the possibilities are endless. I love getting custom orders that allow me to try new things.
How do you start your day?
I start my day with caffeinated green tea and a walk with my dog.
Favorite local businesses?
I love food, so some of my favorite local foods are from Tacology201 and Cafe Moxo.
What do you deem as success in business?
Success in business for me is hitting new milestones. I've had many milestones in business, including launching my business, hitting sales milestones, participating in styled shoots, and creating pieces for new customers.
What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
Don't be afraid to try new things. Saying yes can create so many new opportunities.
