Knob Hill Landscape Company Receives a National Award of Excellence
Knob Hill Landscape Company has received a National Association of Landscape Professionals Award.
Knob Hill Landscape won the Gold Award for Downtown Educational Ecosystem for its project in partnership with Horace Mann. It features more than 600 tons of mossy sandstone boulders, a pond, a shallow water intake bay/pre-filter, three waterfalls, an oversized wetland, and multiple layers of river rock. The new habitat in Springfield, Illinois, is available to school groups to learn about the ecosystem, native plants, and animals.
Landon Kirby, owner of Knob Hill Landscape, said, “Knob Hill is excited to have one of the largest natural ecosystems we’ve created receive this award. We take great pride in creating self-sustaining ecosystems that function as if mother nature created them herself.”
The National Association Landscape Professionals Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional commercial and residential lawncare and landscape installation, maintenance, and design projects across the US.
Knob Hill Landscape Company received one of the 194 awards presented at a ceremony in Texas this month.
