What inspired you to launch your business?
I have been in printing since 1989 and have seen amazing photographs. I always thought I would like photography but had never taken the plunge. A friend of mine offered me a canon 70d in 2019, and I played around with it. I posted a couple of pictures and was talking about getting a camera. Jacksonville Main Street asked if I would photograph their downtown concert. I did it, even though I had no idea what I was doing, and it has been a whirlwind since then.

What is your passion?
All things photography. Learning every morsel of information, I can get my hands on it and try to apply it.

How do you start your day?
I work full-time as the manager of a print shop for a crop insurance company, so my day begins at 8 am.

Favorite local businesses?
I have a lot of friends who own businesses in Jacksonville, and they are all amazing. Jacksonville is coming into its own and is becoming a destination spot due to our new restaurants, sports facilities, boutiques, and activities.

What do you deem as success in business?
Enjoying it, not getting burnt out on it. Remain on the plus side financially. That one is a little easier for me as I have a great full-time job, so everything I make with photography goes right back into it.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
Stay with it, and do not compare yourself to others. Be yourself, be kind, and love what you do.
