Twenty Local Illinois Businesses Up for Awards
We will announce the recipients of our 2023 awards during the annual conference on Monday, September 11, at The Grant Conservatory of Music & Dance.
The awards will be presented at the end of the morning conference that brings together the membership of 200+ local independent businesses and causes across Illinois.
The awards are kindly sponsored by Troxell Insurance.
Chief Experience Officer Alysse Hewell said, “Troxell is grateful to be a part of Illinois Local’s award ceremony again this year. As a long-standing local business in our community, we are always proud to promote and support other local business owners.”
Pastries will be provided by Three Twigs & Co., and coffee will be offered by Bloom Hospitality & Catering. The event’s official photographer is Cory Garner of Elcrow Photography and Design. The awards were designed and created by artist Mario Clarke.
Illinois local members attend the conference for FREE. Nonmembers are welcome to attend. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased on the Illinois Local website.
“This is our third annual conference and awards, and we are excited to hear our speakers, meet with members from across the state, and celebrate their continued success,” said Illinois Local co-founder Gemma Long.
The speakers are Kate Spencer of Kate Spencer Photography, Sarah Lobue of Main Street Florist, Chris Costello of The Storyteller Studios, and the panel consists of Madison Regan of Just the Basics Mobile Bar, Chad Fowler of Sangamon Tree Service, Mike Reisinger of Troxell, and Dr. Bryne Willey of AlignLife of Springfield.

Illinois Local Annual Small Business Saturday Holiday Market 2023
Illinois Local’s annual Small Business Saturday Holiday Market takes place on November 25 from 9am to 4pm at the Exposition Building in the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Entry is $3 for 13 and over.
