What inspired you to launch your business?

As sisters and best friends, it has always been a dream of ours to go into business together. The opportunity presented itself during quarantine when both of our full-time jobs slowed down. With our love of fashion and marketing, a boutique seemed like the perfect fit.

What is your passion?

We are both extremely passionate about connection. While we were hoping for support from family and friends when we started this business venture, we unexpectedly have formed a network of young women who have encouraged and cheered us on as we’ve grown. We do our best to provide them with the best experience with our boutique by focusing on positive relationships, self-expression, and growth.

How do you start your day?

We both start our days with puppy snuggles, lots of coffee, and to-do lists. We are both very early risers. There won’t be a day of the week where we are still asleep at 6 am.

Favorite local business to shop at:

Oh, my goodness, we love Nothing Fancy Supply, Serious Lip Balm, Dumb Records, The Gallery for all things hair and skincare, Kennedy Sue. We are big shoppers over here. But don’t even get us started on the local food.

What do you deem as success in business?

Our father instilled in us at a young age the phrase: “do what you love, love what you do.” We have been very fortunate to grow our careers and other business ventures by following our passions and doing what we love to do. We feel successful as long as we continue to live and work by that motto.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Surround yourself with people who excel in areas where you are weakest. Our partnership has worked out so well because we both possess strength and skills in different areas. While that makes it easy to divide work and tasks, it has also allowed us to develop a skill set and improve our weaker abilities.
