What inspired you to launch your business?

I started my business when I was 16 years old after second shooting a wedding for a friend. From that day on, I fell in love with wedding photography and being able to tell a couple's story for them. I found my entrepreneurial passion that day and haven't looked back. Within the past two years, I have grown my business to full-time.

What is your passion?

My family fuels my business because I know how important these big moments are for people to be experiencing with their loved ones. From newborn to yearly family pictures, from engagement photos to wedding days, and all the big moments in life, these are memories I am passionate about capturing for my clients. My husband, family, and dogs are my world, and I love to capture moments for other people that I know I would want for myself.

How do you start your day?

I am a coffee addict. The first thing I do in the morning starts brewing that coffee. After that, I stretch out, eat some breakfast, and get my MacBook up and ready to tackle the day.

Favorite local businesses?

Blush & Beige Boutique, Flourish Flower Company, Meraki Salon, Razzo's Pizzeria, and Mimosa

What do you deem as success in business?

My business is successful if my clients are genuinely happy with the experience and results that I provide. If I capture special moments for my clients to look back on, my job is a success.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Don't stop trying to grow. I have found it is easy to be discouraged. Depending on your industry, you can feel like there's no hope in a saturated market. However, the more work you put in and the more dedication you give, you will see it pay off, and it will be worth it.
