Fed Kitchen teams up with AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic to host free health socials

Dr. Bryne Willey of AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic

Two local businesses have teamed up to offer free monthly health socials in Springfield.

Fed Kitchen at Papo's Café and AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic & Natural Health Center will offer free health socials on the third Tuesday of each month from 6 pm.

A guest business will join a monthly roundtable discussion at each health social, focusing on a different health topic.

Ann Cowhick of Peace, Love & Sweat will accompany Brennan Malham of Fed Kitchen and Malham Health Maximization and Dr. Bryne Willey of AlignLife of Springfield Chiropractic this month.

Gut health and dysfunction will be discussed on Tuesday, February 18, at Papo's Café in Springfield. The event is free. Attendees can sample products from each business and network and socialize.

No registration is required, but further information is available on Facebook.

As part of Fed Kitchen and AlignLife's mission to make the community healthier, the health social will provide a space where people can learn, connect, and take control of their well-being.

Brennan said, "Gut health is quickly being recognized as a foundational piece of your overall well-being, influencing everything from digestion and immunity to energy levels and mental clarity. "But with modern diets and lifestyles, gut dysfunction (also known as gut dysbiosis) has become increasingly common, leading to inflammation, poor nutrient absorption, and chronic health issues.

Ann Cowhick of Peace, Love & Sweat

"The event is not just about education; it is about transformation. You will leave with a better understanding of healing and strengthening your gut through food, lifestyle changes, and practical daily habits. Plus, you will get to connect with like-minded people who are prioritizing their health."

Brennan, Dr. Bryne, and Ann will explain the science of gut health, reveal ways it impacts daily life, and give actionable strategies to optimize it.

Dr. Bryne said he was excited to invite the community to a free, insightful evening, "We will dive into gut dysfunction, what causes it, how to combat it, and simple, effective tips to improve your everyday well-being. Don't miss this opportunity to take charge of your health."

Peace, Love & Sweat offers solutions for better digestion, detoxification, increased circulation, and decreased inflammation, which improve gut health.

"As Brennan mentioned, gut health is optimized by multiple actions to wellness, not just a singular action. We love the combination of exercise, chiropractic care, eating well, and infrared technology for optimal digestion, lifestyle, and gut,” said Ann.

"We are excited to share our knowledge of infrared and how you can incorporate it with the other wellness tools."
