1 What inspired you to launch your business?
I was wanting some permanent jewelry pieces along with some friends of mine. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find anyone in the area to do them. We waited like a year and a half with no luck, so I decided to figure out how to do it all on my own. And creating a business was something I’d never done before. I have such a huge desire to learn new things, so this was one way of filling that desire.
2 What is your passion?
My passion with this business is outfitting the town and surrounding cities with easy to manage, but beautiful jewelry pieces. I’m all about looking good in the easiest way possible. Permanent jewelry gives you that options.
3 How do you start your day?
I start my day with my other job (day job), and end it working on my business. I invest something of myself into by business every single day.
4 Favorite local businesses?
My favorite local business is West of Wise Winery! Their wine is delicious, and the people who own it/ work there are wonderful. I try to make it out there several times a year and keep a few bottles at home all the time.
5 What do you deem as success in business?
Getting my name out there. Meeting people on the street who know me because of my business.
6 What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
Use every moment you can to market your business. Every person you talk to is a potential sale. Be kind and friendly to everyone, not just because they’re a potential customer, but because owning your own business gives you a chance to meet new people and network. Last but not least, enjoy every moment you can!
