Interactive member directory.
Make sure you update your membership directory listing. Our directory is driven by the keywords you use in your business description. Other directory systems commonly use a set of categories. Our system is more intelligent and allows people to search via normal language. So, make sure to be as descriptive as possible about your business.
You also have the ability to upload photos and there is a function to recommend another member business. Please take advantage of these functions as it creates more content for search engines to find your listings.
Celebrate.
Each week we celebrate a member on our news page through our Six Questions With… feature. Now that you’re part of the IL family, you should have received those questions. Please answer, attach a high res photo of yourself and/or your business, and reply to the email.
Social media.
Our social media channels are on fire with all our members’ content so, if you have something you want us to share, send it our way.
Newsletter.
Our monthly newsletter is all about you, your achievements, celebrations, and stories and provides another avenue to get your message out.
Awards.
In September, we host our business conference and awards, so if you would like to nominate yourself or a fellow member, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Events.
Networking opportunities, pop-ups, business conference, Awards, and our holiday market are planned for 2021. Planning for 2022 is underway -more news to follow.
