THE STORYTELLER STUDIOS SCOOPS NINE AWARDS

The Storyteller Studios has picked up five Telly Awards and four Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts Awards.

The Springfield, Illinois, video production company received Silver Telly Awards for Videography/Cinematography and Cause Marketing, a Gold Communicator Award of Excellence in Videography & Cinematography, and a Gold Communicator Award of Excellence in Causes & Awareness for Moving Pillsbury Forward. For the University of Illinois Springfield, ‘Making Our History - William Blake,’ the team gained a Silver Telly Award for Short Form Documentary and a Gold Communicator Award of Excellence in Documentary. Finally, ‘Warning Signs: Lincoln's Response to Rising Tensions in the 1850s’ gained a Gold Telly Award for Series: History, a Silver Telly Award for Series: Education & Discovery, and a Silver Communicator Award of Distinction for a Web Video Series.

The Storyteller Studios this year also celebrates a decade in business and services clients in the United States and the world.

“I couldn’t be prouder of the Storyteller team. We don’t do what we do for awards, but this kind of national recognition does serve as affirmation that we continue to deliver on our promises to clients and accomplish our mission of connecting people. Of course, we owe the opportunity to do this work at all to those who place their trust in us. We share this recognition with them,” said The Storyteller Studios Executive Producer Josh Hester.

Erin Carlson Mast, CEO of Lincoln Presidential Foundation, said, “Working with The Storyteller Studios and scholars on our first-ever film series, ‘Warning Signs: Lincoln’s Response to Rising Tensions in the 1850s,’ was rewarding on its own. It’s tremendously gratifying that we can say that our film series has now garnered three awards.”

Dr. Graham Peck, Professor of Lincoln Studies, Department of History at the University of Illinois at Springfield, commissioned ‘Making Our History - William Blake.’ He said, “The Storyteller Studios did an incredible job of capturing William Blake’s explanation of his art and rendering it as a vivid and beautiful video. The film has won several awards because it is aesthetically so attractive, yet also explains a complicated historical backstory to a highly metaphorical artwork.

“That being said, Blake‘s video is not alone. The Storyteller Studios made several other great short films for our interdisciplinary art and history project. We’ve been thrilled.”

The Storyteller Studios is at 2025 W. Iles Ave, Springfield, Illinois. You can find out more about The Storyteller Studios at thestorytellerstudios.com.
