What inspired you to launch your business?
I started Clay, Girl, Hey a few months into the pandemic. It gave me something to do while I sat at home and having always been a creative person it was so fun to learn a new medium.
What is your passion?
Being able to make art and have others appreciate fuels my passion for creating.
How do you start your day?
With an iced coffee the size of my face.
Favorite local businesses?
Some of my favorite local businesses include Wild Daisies Boutique (Macomb, IL), One the Edge Country Farm (Monmouth, IL), and Lanét's Company (Macomb, IL).
What do you deem as success in business?
I think as long as what you are doing is sustainable and beneficial to your wellbeing you're a success.
What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
Commit. It took me far too long to put my best efforts into Clay, Girl, Hey and while I'm so happy with the direction I'm heading, I regret not getting here sooner. If you love what you're doing, do yourself a favor and go all in!
