What inspired you to launch your business? 

I have worked in the industry for 15+ years and have enjoyed helping business owners protect their assets while watching them grow and flourish. I have been incredibly proud to watch them grow. I wanted the same feeling for myself, so CLP Insurance Solutions was born. I also want to build an agency that, hopefully, one day, my daughters will take over as a second generation. 

What is your passion? 

Helping people. It is that simple. I don’t care if it is with their insurance or helping them pack groceries in their car. If they need help, I love to assist.  

How do you start your day? 

I have never been much of a morning person, but with my new love of coffee (and much creamer), I am slowly becoming a ball of sunshine. I try to make a list of all the things that need to be done and a list of things that I would “like” to get done.

Favorite local businesses?

Anything with food! I enjoy finding new local restaurants to try while visiting my favorites. There are too many to list, as I have so many. I am also one to try and find the local restaurants while out of town. I love helping small businesses grow, and this is my small way of helping.

What do you deem success in business?

Knowing that I have educated as many people as I can on their insurance coverage, even if they are not clients. If they leave my office with a better understanding of what they have or need, then I have done my job.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners? 

Thank God daily for what you have and pray for what you need.
